About the Role

Universal Flexible Packaging Ltd is looking for an organised and enthusiastic Sales & Technical Administrator to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with data, documents and customer support, and is looking to develop a long-term career within the flexible packaging industry.

Working alongside our Sales and Technical teams, you will assist with customer enquiries, order processing, document control, data entry and general office administration while learning about packaging materials, food contact compliance and technical documentation.

Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and quotations accurately.
• Maintain customer records and company databases.
• Perform accurate data entry using internal systems.
• Prepare and update documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, specifications and customer questionnaires.
• Support the Sales and Technical teams with administrative tasks.
• Produce reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues via telephone and email.
• Maintain document control and electronic filing systems.
• Monitor shared inboxes and ensure enquiries are dealt with promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support business objectives.
• Assist with continuous improvement of office processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous office administration experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly:
  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Confidence communicating with customers and colleagues.

Desirable

• Experience within an administrative or sales support role.
• Experience maintaining controlled documents or databases.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, packaging or distribution (training will be provided).
