Scheme Compliance Manager

Basingstoke | Hybrid | £50,000–£55,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Scheme Compliance Manager to join a growing organisation operating within supply chain governance, risk and compliance.

This is a senior operational and technical leadership position, responsible for leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of specialist professionals across areas including Health & Safety, Building Safety, ESG and Verification.

The successful candidate will provide technical oversight and operational leadership, ensuring specialist activities meet relevant regulatory, certification, governance and quality requirements. They will drive consistency across schemes, oversee risk and compliance activities, and support the continual improvement of processes, standards and service delivery.

Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, the Scheme Compliance Manager will coordinate specialist workstreams, support the implementation of new processes and technology, and ensure high-quality delivery across assessment and verification services. The role will also involve engagement with scheme providers, auditors, industry stakeholders and customers, acting as a senior point of escalation for complex compliance and technical matters.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading technical or specialist teams, alongside strong knowledge of governance, health & safety, compliance, risk management and quality assurance. A Level 3 or above qualification in Health & Safety, environmental management, quality, risk or sustainability is required, together with experience in at least one relevant specialist discipline.

Experience within scheme governance, certification, regulated environments or supply chain assurance would be advantageous. Knowledge of ISO, SSIP, automation, AI and digital transformation would also be beneficial.
