Hours: Full Time – Term Time Only- Temp to Perm (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) / Bank options also available 
Pay: £93 – £100 per day (Teaching Assistant Level 2 Salary)

GSL Education are working with SEN Specialist schools across Leicester, supporting pupils with special educational and behavioural needs. We're hiring SEN Teaching Assistants / Support Workers to help create a nurturing and empowering learning environment for children and young people.

• Supporting students aged 5–16 with additional needs

• Providing tailored, 1:1 and group learning support

• Assisting with personal care (where required)

• Supporting the teacher with lesson delivery

• Encouraging emotional regulation and positive behaviour

• Promoting independence and social development

• Working alongside educational psychologists, social workers, and CAMHS professionals

• Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting children, young people or adults with additional needs (including personal/lived experience)

• Knowledge of needs including: Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, Anxiety, Self-Harm, Learning Disabilities, Attachment Disorders, LAC

• A calm, positive, and compassionate nature

• Resilience and a strong commitment to safeguarding

• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
