This Semi Senior Accountant opportunity in Hinckley gives you a clear focus on preparing accounts and tax computations, with bookkeeping forming only a small part of your workload. You'll work with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, building your knowledge across different businesses and sectors.

If ACCA is your next step, study support is available with training through Kaplan. If further exams aren't part of your plans, you can still develop your practical skills through in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns, including CT600s.
• Prepare income tax computations, with personal tax return preparation handled separately.
• Undertake occasional bookkeeping assignments.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Practical experience preparing accounts and supporting tax computations.
• An organised approach and close attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Sage Accounts Production would be useful.
• An interest in developing your technical knowledge, with or without further professional study.
