About the Role

At Miller House School, we don't just deliver education, we transform lives.

We're looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our growing specialist team, supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism and ADHD. This is an opportunity to work in a setting where relationships come first, progress is celebrated in all its forms, and every day brings the chance to make a lasting difference.

Many of our students have faced significant challenges in their educational journey. They need a teacher who sees their potential, believes in them, and can create learning experiences that build confidence, resilience and a love of learning.

Whether you're an experienced SEN practitioner or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we'll provide the support, training and encouragement to help you thrive.

Working alongside skilled Teaching Assistants, therapists and pastoral professionals, you'll be part of a collaborative team that is committed to helping every student achieve outcomes they once thought were impossible.

What You'll Be Doing

Who We’re Looking For

About Us

Miller House School is a brand-new school located in Stoneygate, Leicester. The school opened in September 2025, has a capacity of 80 students, and offers a co-educational provision for students with complex needs, including SEMH.

Miller House School is a specialist SEMH setting for young people aged 11–16. We are committed to supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, as well as autism and ADHD. Our safe and nurturing environment ensures every child is heard, seen, and supported to thrive.

At Outcomes First Schools, we provide specialist education for learners who need a deeper level of understanding, expertise and support than mainstream education can typically offer. We support students with a wide range of complex, co-occurring and neurodivergent needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and communication needs, dyslexia and experiences of trauma or adversity.

We are proud to be a part of OFG Education who in 2025 were officially certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for the sixth year running.

Why Join Us?

We place students and vulnerable young adults at the heart of everything we do, so every day brings the satisfaction of making a real difference. We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and young people. All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants to a fully enhanced DBS.

We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.

OFG Education is committed to carrying out a fair, thorough and efficient recruitment process in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education. Whilst we aim to keep applicants informed throughout, OFG Education does not accept liability for any loss of earnings or other associated costs incurred by applicants as a result of delays or changes in the compliance process. All stages of the compliance process are subject to necessary safeguarding checks and compliance with statutory requirements, which may affect timescales.
