Sen Teaching Assistant

Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant — Tamworth

When a pupil needs another way into learning, your approach matters.

Revolve Collective is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants interested in supporting pupils with additional needs in Tamworth-area schools.

Our local school relationships include mainstream primary settings. The pupil’s needs and support arrangements will shape the role, whether that involves individual support, small-group work or helping pupils participate in classroom activities.

You could be breaking instructions into manageable steps, using resources agreed with the teacher or helping a pupil build confidence with a task they find difficult.

Support that builds independence

To be considered, your background should include:

• Direct experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs.

• Experience adapting instructions, activities or resources to help individuals participate.

• Experience following agreed support strategies and sharing observations with colleagues.

• An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.

We’re interested in the children you’ve supported, the approaches you’ve used and how you’ve worked with teachers or SENCOs.

Interested? Apply with your CV or call Jamie at Revolve Collective on (phone number removed) to discuss the role.
