Spencer Clarke Tutors | Personalised Education Support
Pay: £25-£30 per hour
Location: St Helens
Hours: Flexible, depending on learner needs
Contract: Part-time
Spencer Clarke Tutors are looking for experienced 1:1 SEND Tutors in St Helens to support children and young people with additional learning needs.
We work with schools and Local Authorities to provide tailored tuition for pupils accessing alternative provision, EOTAS or requiring extra support to engage with education.

• 
  Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition.
• 
  Adapt lessons to individual SEND needs.
• 
  Support Maths, English and other relevant subjects.
• 
  Build confidence, engagement and positive relationships.
• 
  Monitor progress and submit session feedback.

• 
  Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• 
  Teaching qualification, tutoring experience or relevant educational background.
• 
  Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• 
  SEMH or alternative provision experience is desirable.
• 
  Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (we can provide a link to apply if needed).
• 
  Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
