Senior Gardener

Job description

Are you an experienced and qualified gardener with a relevant spraying/pesticide qualification This could be a suitable opportunity for you.

This is a skilled gardening role for someone who already has strong horticultural or professional gardening knowledge and experience. You will be expected to recognise different plants, identify issues and carry out appropriate work using your existing knowledge and experience.

The role is full-time and offers a salary of £30,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Around 5 years' commercial gardening experience.
• Level 3 or above qualification in a relevant gardening or horticultural subject.
• Existing spraying/pesticide qualification.
• Good practical knowledge of plants and professional gardening.
• Able to identify plants and recognise gardening-related issues when working at customer properties.
• Reliable and personable, with the ability to work effectively within a small team.
• Chainsaw qualification desirable.

• Senior Gardener, Gardener, Horticulturist, Garden Team Leader, Head Gardener, Landscape Gardener, Senior Landscaper, Landscaper, Senior Maintenance Gardener,  Senior Garden Maintenance Operative, Garden Maintenance Supervisor, Estate Gardener, Grounds Maintenance Gardener, Grounds Maintenance Operative or in a similar role

Shift:

• 40 hours work week
• Monday - Friday:
• 7:30am - 4:00pm or 7:30am - 5:00pm
