Senior Operations Coordinator

Job description

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Operations Coordinator, whereby you will be providing logistical solutions for the UK and European market.

Hours are Monday to Friday 0800-1730, plus one Saturday morning every 4 weeks 0830-11.00am

22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays 

Salary £40+  Location Hertfordshire   

Duties Include:

Organising the movement of freight across Europe and the UK.

Communicating accurately in written and verbal form complex instructions to both Customers and Suppliers.

Negotiating with both Customers and Suppliers to achieve most cost-effective solution.

 Providing the highest standards of Customer service.

 Processing Customer orders through use of the companies own “in-house” operating system with an emphasis on attention to detail.

Compiling customs documentation to facilitate shipment of our client’s freight into and from Europe.

 Building very strong relationships with our clients, principally through verbal engagement

What you need: 

• Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
• A professional, positive and helpful attitude.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate directly with clients and suppliers and identify and exploit opportunities to increase both turnover and more importantly profit.
• Presentable, energetic and enthusiastic.
• Strong organisational skills with an excellent memory.
