Senior Quantity Surveyor role - Heavy Civils & Utilities

SSA are currently recruiting for a leading heavy civils and utilities contractor whop are are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on projects valued between £10m-£50m under NEC contracts. They work across the UK on various projects within civil infrastructure including tunnelling, wastewater, gas, pipelines, renewables, and other schemes. 

 
Duties will involve:

• Production of accurate project cost reporting, commercial dashboards and project cost forecast
• Identification and evaluation of commercial risks and opportunities for improved performance
• Subcontract evaluation and management
• Assist in the production of accurate and timely Cost Value Reports
• Provide commercial support to all ongoing Project and Commercial reviews
• Assisting with valuations
• Building relationships with clients and other key stakeholders
• Assisting in the development on junior members of staff

Essential:

• 5 years plus experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Civil Engineering or Utilities
• HNC/HND/BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
