Job description
Location: Warwickshire Rate: £375-£425 per day IR35: Outside IR35 Start: ASAP Duration: Until July 2027 and beyond Hours: 5 days on site, 07:30-17:30We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a major wastewater treatment works project in Warwickshire, working with a leading Tier 1 contractor.
This is a long-term contract opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong civils background, ideally gained within the water or wastewater sector.
You will take responsibility for the technical delivery of civils packages across the site, including setting out, quality control, as-built records, temporary works and supervision of subcontractors and junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for reinforced concrete structures, drainage, earthworks and pipelines
- Establishing and maintaining site control
- Managing and supporting junior Site Engineers
- Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to drawings and specifications
- Completing and maintaining ITPs, quality records and as-built information
- Raising RFIs and identifying potential design issues
- Reviewing and implementing RAMS
- Supporting temporary works activities including excavations, shoring and formwork
- Ensuring high standards of health, safety and quality across the site
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on major civil engineering projects
- Water or wastewater experience strongly preferred
- Strong setting out experience using Robotic Total Stations and GPS
- Competent with CAD and production of as-built information
- Experience with reinforced concrete, deep drainage, pipelines and associated civils
- Valid CSCS
- SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
- TWC/TWS training advantageous
- Able to commit to 5 days per week on site in Warwickshire
Terms
£375-£425 per day, Outside IR35
Contract through to July 2027 with an ASAP start.
