We're recruiting on behalf of one of Edinburgh's most respected hospitality groups for an experienced and passionate Senior Sous Chef to join a busy, high-quality kitchen operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, seasonal menus and a talented team in a fast-paced, professional environment. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in delivering consistently exceptional food while helping to motivate and develop the brigade.
What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Head Chef with the smooth operation of the kitchen
• Leading and inspiring the team during service
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
• Assisting with menu development and seasonal dish creation
• Managing stock, ordering and food cost controls
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are always met
• Training and developing junior chefs

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
• A passion for fresh, seasonal cooking
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• High standards and attention to detail
• The ability to thrive in a busy kitchen environment
• A positive, hands-on approach and a genuine love of hospitality
