Service Charge Residential & Commercial PM, Part time

Job description

Our well established independent client, due to continued growth in their portfolio, are looking for an experienced (PART TIME) Service Charge, Property Manager to join their local team, covering APT residential, TPI Block and Commercial properties based in Romford RM1

Duties to include:

• Production of residential service charge accounts
• Reconciliation of independently prepared accounts
• Client liaison on all accounting matters
• Internal liaison with APT Residential & TPI Block Property Management matters 
• Assisting with complex queries from Property Managers
. Assisting with general Property duties in residential, Block & Commercial Property management matters
• Production of year end certificates and explanations with final accounts
• Working to deadlines
• Supporting the Property Managers and Branch Managers in the local branch
• Assisting RMC Directors in the understanding of the service charge accounts
• Attending AGMs and other meetings with clients as required
• Ensuring RICS Service Charge Residential Management Code is adhered to

Experience & Requirements:

• Understanding of leasehold property accounting
• Excellent communication skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• ACCA accreditation a plus 
• Knowledge of lease interpretation, apportionment, schedules, balancing and reserve fund compliance
• Knowledge of Section 20B legislation Desirable Requirements:
• Previous experience in the Residential Property Management field
• TPI and other industry qualifications
. Block & Commercial Property management experience

Working week: Monday - Friday 3 - 4 days a week (Part time)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Negotiable depending on experience.
Support and ongoing legislation training 28 Days holiday including Bank.
