SHEQ Advisor - Engineering Manufacturing

A specialist engineering and manufacturing business is looking for a SHEQ Advisor to support its growing operation.

Based primarily within a new manufacturing facility, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) standards across fabrication, manufacturing, and installation activities.

Duties for SHEQ Advisor

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SHEQ and Quality Management Systems
• Maintain and monitor compliance with ISO 9001 and wider health, safety, and environmental standards
• Manage and review non-conformances (NCRs), supporting root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions (CAPA)
• Conduct internal audits, workplace inspections, and compliance reviews across manufacturing and operational activities
• Promote and maintain a positive SHEQ and quality culture across the business
• Review and support risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
• Produce SHEQ and quality performance reports, statistics, and management information
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operational teams to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience for SHEQ Advisor

• Previous experience in a SHEQ, HSEQ, QHSE, Quality, or Health & Safety position
• Experience working within manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, industrial, or process environments
• Knowledge of ISO management systems, particularly ISO 9001
• NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH, or equivalent qualification desirable
• Full UK driving licence
