£55,000 - £65,000 + Training + Development + Project Ownership + Electric Car + Laptop

Are you an Electrical Project Manager, Contracts Manager or Solar PV Project Manager looking to take full ownership of high-value commercial projects, with the backing of an established contractor that's growing its renewables capability?

On offer is a permanent role with a well-established electrical contracting and renewable energy business, where you'll manage a varied portfolio of commercial/industrial electrical installations alongside Solar PV and battery storage projects, with nationwide site travel as required.

You'll join a company with 28+ years' industry experience, known for delivering quality work across the commercial, industrial and public sectors. You'll work closely with experienced Project Managers, in-house Designers and company Directors, with support for relevant training where required.

In this role you'll take projects from contract award through to completion-owning programme, procurement, subcontractors, budgets and handover-ensuring safe, on-time delivery and strong commercial performance. There are no hands-on installation duties.

This role would suit an Electrical Project Manager from a commercial electrical contracting background, ideally with Solar PV experience, looking for long-term responsibility, technical variety and ongoing development.

The Role:

• Manage commercial/industrial electrical installation projects and renewable energy projects (Solar PV / battery storage)
• Full project lifecycle ownership: costing, procurement, subcontractor management, delivery and handover
• Commercial responsibility: budgets, profitability, client and supply-chain relationships
• Based from the Leicester head office with nationwide site travel as required
• Permanent, salaried role (no hands-on installation duties)

The Person:

• Proven experience managing commercial/industrial electrical projects from award to completion
• Strong commercial awareness (costing, procurement, budgets, subcontractors)
• Solar PV / battery storage project exposure beneficial but not essential
