Spanish Teacher – Secondary School

Are you a Spanish Teacher looking for a new role this November? Supply Teach is recruiting for a secondary school in Derby seeking a confident and engaging teacher to join their MFL department.

This is a great opportunity for a Spanish specialist who can bring the language to life, build positive relationships with pupils and deliver engaging lessons across the secondary age range.

The role

Starting in November, you'll take responsibility for teaching Spanish within an established secondary school in Derby.

The role will include:

• Teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
• Supporting pupils to develop their confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing
• Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback
• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and high expectations
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the MFL department

About you

We're looking for someone who is passionate about languages and confident teaching Spanish within a secondary school environment.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge
• Confidence teaching across KS3 and KS4
• Good classroom and behaviour management
• A positive and engaging approach to teaching
