Our client are a leading manufacturer providing specialist solutions to a variety of industries such as telecommunications. They are looking for a Warehouse Operator on an initial 3 month contract.Warehouse Operator
Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:45, Friday 12:30pm finish
Leicestershire, Oakham
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator to support our manufacturing operations on a temporary basis. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and preparation of materials and products in alignment with production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries in line with company procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for both internal production and external shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate records through stock checks and inventory system updates.
- Support regular cycle counts and stocktakes.
- Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health & safety standards.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift license (counterbalance)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Physically fit to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
