Supply Chain Executive
Location: Braintree
Department: Procurement
Salary: £28-30K plus excellent benefits
Monday to Friday : 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 40 hour week

Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Executive who supports the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods through the business, ensuring product availability while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and controlling supply chain costs. 

The role combines purchasing, inventory planning, supplier management and data analysis to support customer demand and production requirements. The position identifies purchasing requirements, monitors supplier performance, manages supply risks and provides insight to support effective operational decision-making.

Working closely with suppliers and internal departments, the role helps improve supply chain performance, maintain service levels and ensure the supply chain department supports the wider business needs.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, supply planning or a related supply chain or procurement role.
• Confident using ERP systems, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to interpret supply chain data, identify risks and make practical, evidence-based recommendations and decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy, continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of work.
• Experience of procurement and supply chain of technical products and components would be advantageous.
