Supply Secondary Teacher (General Cover) - Northampton, Northamptonshire - NN4

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Supply Secondary Teacher for general cover at a thriving secondary school in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming team dedicated to providing an excellent education for students aged 11-18.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality general cover teaching across a range of subjects in line with the national curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.
• Be adaptable and ready to cover various subjects as needed, from humanities to sciences and arts.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are adhered to at all times.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching at secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4).
• Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
• Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to different teaching environments.
• Available for a minimum of 3 days per week.
