About the Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across your specialist subject area or a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will quickly build positive relationships with students and staff while maintaining high standards of teaching and classroom management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with school policies and curriculum requirements
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally
• Ensure students remain engaged and focused throughout lessons
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching settings
• Assess and monitor student progress where required
• Follow lesson plans provided by permanent teaching staff
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times
• Build positive working relationships with staff and students

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• Passionate about raising student achievement
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
