Are you an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Leicester for the new academic term?
Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful and well-regarded secondary school in Leicester City to recruit a dedicated Teacher of Science to join its thriving department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate classroom practitioner to teach General Science across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, helping students develop scientific knowledge, practical skills and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
• Encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning.
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Support students in achieving strong GCSE outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Science department.
• Participate fully in departmental initiatives and whole-school activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and share best practice.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
• Be confident delivering Science across KS3 and GCSE.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
• Be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all learners.
• Possess strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Contribute positively to a supportive and collaborative department.
