• Weekly Pay Rate: £500 - £525
• Start Date: September 2026
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
• Contract: Long Term with potential for Permanent

Long Term Futures are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a modern, two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton. This long-term role will involve supporting teaching and learning across Years 5 and 6, working closely with class teachers to raise attainment, deliver interventions and support pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.

The Role

• Support teaching and learning across Year 5 and Year 6 classrooms
• Deliver small-group interventions in English and Maths, including SATs preparation
• Support pupils with SEND and varying learning needs to access the curriculum
• Promote positive behaviour and use effective behaviour management strategies
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, confidence and engagement in learning
• Assist with classroom preparation, resources and displays
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Experience supporting Upper Key Stage 2 pupils
• Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and Year 6 SATs preparation
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, positive and flexible approach to supporting learning
