Team Leader – Packing Warehouse

Our client, a leading dairy manufacturer in Leicester, is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of their Packing & Warehouse operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse, packing, or food production professional looking to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of packing and warehouse operatives.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor workflow.
• Ensure products are packed, labelled, and dispatched accurately.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Support stock control, palletising, and warehouse organisation.
• Promote health & safety and safe working practices.
• Assist with training and development of team members.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse, packing, food production, or manufacturing environments.
• Previous Team Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Operative experience preferred.
• Good understanding of food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Food Safety Level 2 and FLT licence desirable but not essential.
