Job Description:

JRS Associates have partnered up with an established plastic injection moulding specialist to recruit two skilled Toolmakers / Bench Hands to join their experienced toolroom team on a permanent basis.

The Successful Toolmaker / Bench Hand - Package:

• £37,500 – £40,365 per annum

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

• 39-hour working week

• 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays

• Permanent, full-time position

• Stable workload within a specialist plastic injection moulding environment

The Successful Toolmaker / Bench Hand - Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Toolmaker or Bench Hand

• Strong experience working with plastic injection moulding tools

• Experience assembling plastic injection moulding tools

• Confident using conventional toolroom machinery, including:

  • Milling machines

  • Lathes

  • Surface grinders

  • Hand tools

• Experience with bed-out tooling

• Skilled in polishing and finishing

• Comfortable working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards

• Reliable, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
