Vehicle Technician – Military Vehicle Systems

Location: Coventry
Rate: £25 per hour
Contract: Rolling Contract | Outside IR35
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 08:00–16:35 | Friday, 08:00–15:10

The Opportunity

We’re looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians, Mechanics and Mechanical Fitters to support a major programme of specialist vehicle production in Coventry.

This is a hands-on role involving the assembly and integration of specialist military vehicles, working to high engineering, safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit mechanical and electrical vehicle components.
• Work from engineering drawings, schematics and build instructions.
• Use hand tools and specialist equipment.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Work alongside engineering and production teams to resolve issues.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Fitter or Vehicle Builder.
• Strong mechanical fitting or vehicle assembly skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and instructions.
• Good attention to detail and a practical, team-focused approach.
• Automotive, HGV, commercial, military or off-highway vehicle experience is advantageous.

Relevant Level 3 qualifications or equivalent are desirable. Previous military vehicle experience is not essential.
