Vehicle Technician / Car & Van Technician / Vehicle Mechanic 

Location: Spalding 

Salary: £36,000 - £43,200 OTE + Overtime + Great Company Benefits 

Shift: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) + 1in4 Saturdays (8am - 1pm) Paid Overtime

Permanent Position 

We are currently looking for 3 Skilled Vehicle Technicians to join our busy Car & Van Dealership in Spalding! 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician looking to join an established dealership, with a competitive salary, overtime opportunities and excellent training and development.

As a Skilled Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable and ready for our customers.

Responsibilities: 

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
• Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Identifying mechanical and electrical issues
• Following manufacturer repair procedures and technical information
• Testing vehicle components and systems following repairs
• Carrying out routine maintenance, including oil and fluid changes
• Completing general mechanical work within a busy workshop environment
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer care

As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you must hold the following:

• Level 3 Automotive qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience working with modern vehicles and repair procedures
• A full UK driving licence
• A professional approach and good attention to detail
• The ability to work well as part of a team

Package and Salary details:

• £36,000 starting salary
• £600+ OTE Bonus per month 
• 1 in 4 Saturday Mornings, paid at overtime rate
• Saturday hours 8:00am – 1:00pm
• Monday-Friday hours 8:00am – 5:00pm
• 30-minute lunch break
