VNA FLT Truck Drivers – 3 Vacancies (Temp to Permanent for high performers)

Location: Rothley, Leics, LE7
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour plus overtime at enhanced rates over 37.5 hours @ T1/4 in the week T1/4 weekends.
Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:00 am – 3:00 pm or 8:00 am – 4:00pm
Pay: Weekly pay – 1 week in arrears
Contract: Temporary with potential for permanent transfer for high performing applicants
Vacancies: x 3 immediate start

We are currently recruiting for 3 x experienced VNA FLT Truck Drivers to join our long established client's busy warehouse and logistics operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, safety-conscious FLT drivers looking for a long-term role, with Temporary to Permanent opportunities available for high-performing candidates who demonstrate excellent attendance, timekeeping and a strong work ethic.

The Role

As a VNA FLT Truck Driver, you will work within one of two areas of the operation:

Warehouse Department

• Operating VNA FLT trucks safely and efficiently
• Order picking and stock movement
• Loading and unloading
• Off-truck warehouse duties, including palletising and shrink wrapping
• General warehouse duties as required
• Ensuring stock is handled and stored correctly
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

Logistics Department

• Operating VNA FLT trucks
• Supporting dispatch and goods-in operations
• Ideally you will also hold a CB license although training can be given to obtain an internal accredited license
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving and positioning stock safely
• Checking and preparing goods for dispatch
• General warehouse and logistics duties as required

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

A valid and accredited VNA FLT licence (within 3 years)

Counterbalance FLT licence desirable but not essential

All FLT licences must be accredited and have been taken or refreshed within the last 3 years

Previous experience operating VNA trucks in a busy warehouse environment

Excellent awareness of Health & Safety procedures

High standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Ideally, previous experience within pharmaceutical, food or another highly regulated environment

The ability to work safely alongside sterile areas

Good attention to detail

A reliable and flexible approach to work

Excellent attendance and timekeeping

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Good english language both spoken and written

Working Hours & Pay

£14.00 per hour

Monday to Friday:

7:00am–3:00pm OR

8:00am–4:00pm

Overtime:

Monday–Friday,

Weekly pay – 1 week in arrears.

over 37.5 hours: Time & ¼

Weekend overtime: Time & ½
