Location: Tamworth
Pay: £13.56 per hour (Days) / £14.83 per hour (Nights)
Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off
Hours: Days: 06:00 - 18:00 | Nights: 18:00 - 06:00

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join our client, a well-known distribution company based in Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Administrator looking to join a busy logistics operation, with permanent opportunities available following a successful trial period.

Job Role - Warehouse Administrator (Logistics Industry)

As a Warehouse Administrator, you will provide vital administrative support to the warehouse and transport teams, ensuring smooth communication, accurate reporting, and efficient day-to-day operations within the logistics industry.

You will play a key role in supporting operational performance by maintaining accurate records, assisting with warehouse processes, and helping teams achieve service levels and KPI targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting communication between warehouse and transport teams
• Completing administration tasks accurately and within required timescales
• Supporting warehouse activities including:
  • Pick activity
  • Inbound activity
  • Outbound activity
  • Allocation and replenishment
  • Booking out processes
  • Loading schedules
  • Driver paperwork
• Maintaining and updating spreadsheets and operational reports
• Ensuring KPI data remains accurate and up to date
• Investigating stock discrepancies and coordinating stock checks
• Supporting continuous improvement within warehouse operations
• Working closely with internal teams to improve efficiency and performance

Requirements

• Previous warehouse administration or logistics administration experience desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
• Reliable and professional approach

Pay & Working Hours

3 on / 3 off shift pattern

Day Shift

• 06:00 - 18:00
• £13.56 per hour

Night Shift

• 18:00 - 06:00
• £14.83 per hour
