We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team on the near outskirts of Burton, easily accessible from Branston, Barton under Needwood, Walton & Lichfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock.
- Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets.
Requirements for the successful Operative:- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good timekeeping, reliability and a flexible approach to work.
- The ability to carry out manual handling duties where required (sometimes can involve more heavy lifting when hand-palletising goods)
- Minimum 12 months within a logistics / store room environment
