Warehouse & Yard Operative

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Operative with Forklift Certifications to support the efficient running of our warehouse and yard.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Receive, pick, prepare, load and store stock safely and accurately.
• Maintain stock accuracy and complete stock checks.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Provide excellent service to customers collecting or returning goods.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organised and safe.
• Carry out forklift and equipment checks and report any issues.
• Follow all company, Health & Safety and compliance procedures.
• Support the wider branch team as required.

Requirements:

• Forklift Truck Licence - essential.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.
• Basic IT and numeracy skills.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
• Warehouse/yard experience and Reach Truck Licence desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence desirable.

This is a hands-on role involving manual handling, indoor/outdoor working and the safe operation of warehouse equipment.

Pay Rate:

• £12.74 per hour.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 08:00-17:30
