Warehouse Team Manager / Supervisor – Dunstable
We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Manager / Supervisor to join our client in Dunstable.
We’re looking for a strong and experienced warehouse professional with a proven track record of longevity and stability in previous employment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated commitment to their previous roles, strong leadership skills and the ability to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations.
This is a hands-on management position for someone who can lead by example, manage a team effectively and ensure the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and manage the warehouse team on a day-to-day basis
- Allocate workloads and ensure daily targets are achieved
- Monitor productivity, attendance and overall team performance
- Ensure warehouse processes and procedures are followed correctly
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
- Support goods-in, picking, packing, dispatch and general warehouse operations
- Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
- Train, develop and support team members
- Work closely with senior management to achieve operational targets
- Take a hands-on approach when required and lead by example
What We’re Looking For
- Strong previous experience in warehouse supervision or management
- A proven track record of stable, long-term employment and commitment to previous employers
- Demonstrable experience managing and motivating a warehouse team
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and processes
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, proactive and accountable
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
The Details
- Salary: £31,000 – £35,000 per year, depending on experience
- Location: Dunstable
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 10:00 – 19:00
