Welder

Job description

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder (Solid Wire) to support a busy new build marine project on a contract basis.

The Role:

• MIG welding using solid wire processes
• Fabrication and welding of components for new vessel construction
• Working from technical drawings and welding procedures
• Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
• Supporting project delivery to demanding timescales

Requirements:

• Previous MIG welding experience using solid wire
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience within marine, shipbuilding, heavy fabrication, structural steel, or similar industries beneficial
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team

Details:

• Approximately 2 month contract
• 60 hours per week available
• Immediate start
• £27.50/h
