Electrical Workshop Technician – Nottingham

Salary: £34,278 + Overtime at 1.5x 

Location: Nottingham
Hours: 40 Hours – Flexible Working

Are you an experienced Electrical Workshop Technician, Panel Wirer or Electrical Assembly Technician looking for a new challenge with flexible working hours, excellent overtime opportunities and long-term progression?

We're recruiting for an established engineering company within the UK Water Industry looking to strengthen their Nottingham workshop team.

The Role

As an Electrical Workshop Technician / Panel Wiring Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• Assembling electrical equipment, control panels and telemetry systems.

• Reading electrical drawings, schematics and I/O schedules.

• Supporting MCC panel modifications and electrical assembly.

• Reviewing technical and testing documentation.

• Managing workshop stock and materials.

• Supporting Project Managers and Site Technicians.

Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical Qualification or equivalent.

• Experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or workshop engineering.

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings.

• Strong understanding of electrical safety.

• 18th Edition and ECS Gold Card desirable.

• Water industry experience beneficial but not essential.
