Year 3 Teacher (Part-Time) – Thurmaston
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Thurmaston from August 2026.
This is a part-time position working every Monday and Tuesday, ideal for a teacher looking for a consistent role within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the class on their working days, including planning, preparation and assessment.
The school is looking for a teacher who can create engaging learning experiences, build positive relationships with pupils and staff, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
The Role:
• Year 3 Teacher
• Thurmaston, Leicestershire
• August 2026 start
• Mondays and Tuesdays each week
• Planning, preparation and assessment required
• Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience
The Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passionate about supporting pupil progress and attainment
• Reliable, professional and committed to high standards of teaching
