We are looking for individuals with previous professional experience working with children who are passionate about providing personalised support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

If you believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, this is your chance to make a meaningful difference through individualised support.

About the Role

Depending on the pupil's needs, you may be supporting children with autism (ASC), ADHD, communication difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs, or other additional learning needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing dedicated one-to-one support throughout the school day.
Helping the pupil access lessons, complete learning activities, and achieve individual targets.
Building a trusting relationship to encourage confidence, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
Supporting communication, social interaction, and positive behaviour.
Adapting your approach to suit the pupil's individual needs and learning style.
Helping the pupil develop independence and essential life skills.
Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and other relevant professionals.
Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for these opportunities, you must have:

Previous professional experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare setting, or another relevant professional environment.
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach.
The ability to build positive relationships with children and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Confidence in adapting to different situations and responding to individual needs.
A reliable, proactive, and professional attitude.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in a one-to-one capacity, is highly desirable.

Essential availability: You must be able to work within school hours of 08:30-15:30. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available, depending on the placement.
