Assembly Operative

Job description

Our client is a prestigious motorcycle manufacturer based in Hinckley. They are looking for experienced operatives to work in their Assembly / Rework facility

Rate of pay is £15.73 per hour

Hours of work:

• 7am – 4pm Monday – Thursday
• 7am – 12pm Friday
• (Maybe required to work until 5pm depending on build plan)

The role:

• Component assembly / rework using hand and air tools
• Packing bikes for despatch
• Be confident in dealing with small parts

The job involves working in either a static station area or assembly line. You will be standing for long periods of time. You will also be required to work with takt times - so speed and dexterity is an essential skill for this job.

The Successful Assembly Operative will:

• Ideally have experience in working within an assembly / production environment, however training can be provided.
• Be a keen team player in a fast-paced environment, working along tight deadlines.
• Have excellent Timekeeping and Attendance.
