Class 1 HGV Driver – Monday to Friday

Location: Lutterworth
Job Type: Temporary on going
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Start Date: Approximately 1 week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 04:30

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join a straightforward driving operation on a temporary basis.

The role involves completing a simple drop-and-swap delivery at the main depot before returning to the original site. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent weekday work and early starts.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 HGV safely and professionally.
  
  
• Completing drop-and-swap deliveries at the main depot.
  
  
• Returning to site following completion of the delivery.
  
  
• Ensuring all vehicle checks and relevant paperwork are completed.
  
  
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism throughout the assignment.
  
  

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday.
  
  
• Early start at 04:30.
  
  
• Shifts are generally no longer than 10 hours and may finish earlier.
  
  
• £16.00 per hour.
  
  
• A minimum of 8 hours' pay is guaranteed per shift.
  
  
• Overtime is paid on a sixth shift only.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
  
  
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  
  
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
  
  
• Good understanding of driver safety and compliance.
