Looking for a local driving job with regular hours and a friendly team?
Class1 Personnel is recruiting Class 2 Refuse Drivers for an ongoing opportunity in Coventry.
This is a great opportunity for newly qualified HGV drivers looking to gain experience, build confidence and get started in their driving career.
Already a Class 1 driver and fancy something more local? This role could be ideal if you're looking for a change, regular work and the chance to work as part of a supportive team.
What's on offer?
💷 £15.31 per hour (standard rate)
📅 4 days per week
⏰ Early starts at 06:00 or 07:00
🕒 37 hours per week
📍 Local work based in Coventry, CV3
👍 Ongoing work
🚛 Newly qualified Class 2 drivers welcome!
What will you be doing?
Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
Following planned routes to collect waste, including trade waste.
Completing paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
Working alongside a team to provide a reliable collection service.
What we're looking for
A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
A positive attitude, reliability and a good work ethic.
Good communication skills.
The ability to complete paperwork accurately.
A recent work reference.
No previous refuse collection experience necessary! A willingness to learn and a team-focused attitude are what matter.
