CNC Miller Programmer

We are working with a well developed company who have a focused manufacturing capability based on CNC technology. In addition to traditional standalone machining centres, they have 6 sliding head CNC lathes that allow complete production of finished components from raw bar material. We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join them in their facility in Rotherham.

Key skilled required of the CNC Miller Programmer:

• The CNC Miller must have over 8 years working experience as a CNC Miller
• Experience of setting and operating CNC Mills 
• Must have hands on Programming experience
• Ability to write programs from drawings - at a high level of competence
• Must have experience of HURCO, Fanuc etc. controls
• This role will be suited to a CNC Miller with Medium to high volume engineering background
• Experience of cutting variety of materials - from basic carbon plate, Nicol, duplex etc.
• Ideally, a time-served apprentice with a wide range of engineering experience

The successful CNC Miller Programmer will be working for a a forward moving organisation who like to reinvest in the business and their people. In return my client are offering excellent hourly rate inclusive of shift allowance and bonus scheme of 6-% of basic rate upon successful completion of agreed probationary period.

• £18-£19ph
• Mon-Fri – 6am-2pm (40 hours)
• Mon- Thur – 2pm-12am (40 hours)
• OT paid @ 1.5x
• 6% bonus eligible after probation
