£30,000 - £35,000 + Full Commercial Training + Clear Progression to QS + Mentoring + Long-Term Career
Loughborough (Commutable from: Loughborough, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Melton Mowbray, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Hinckley)

Do you have construction related qualifications? Are you interested in the cost control of construction projects? Do you want to join a contractor where you will receive hands on Training with long term progression to Quantity Surveyor?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing contractor where you will receive hands-on training on commercial processes and systems, while supporting the Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyors across a varied pipeline of projects.

This family-run business specialises in Commercial Construction, delivering fast-paced projects across the UK. Operating in a stable growing market they're going through an expansion period so looking to add to their commercial department.

This is a varied position, in which you'll be provided with full support from the Commercial Manager, to enable you to oversee full cost control of projects to completion.

This role would suit someone with construction experience and a relevant HND/degree, looking for structured mentoring, hands-on development and clear progression into an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor position.

The Role:

• Take-offs / measurements from drawings using Bluebeam
• Overseeing the cost control of construction projects
• Opportunity to learn construction software
  

The Person:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in construction
• Qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management (or similar)
• Experience with construction drawings
