Commercial Service Advisor

Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, is seeking a skilled Commercial Service Advisor to join their established team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a busy service department within a long-standing, family-owned business.

The ideal individual will have a strong background in motor trade customer service and administration, with a focus on commercial vehicle servicing.

Duties of a Commercial Service Advisor:

• Prepare job cards and raise invoices in accordance with work completed and manufacturer guidelines, using Kerridge DMS and customer authorisation platforms
• Answer customer phone calls and handle enquiries professionally
• Assist customers at the Service Reception counter
• Liaise with technicians and manage the workshop workload to meet customer expectations
• Arrange service bookings and manage the diary efficiently
• Coordinate with subcontractors to schedule work and follow up on progress
• Keep customers informed on vehicle status, costs, and authorisations throughout the service process
• Complete estimates accurately and efficiently
• Ensure workshop loading is optimised by booking vehicles promptly and effectively

Requirements of a Commercial Service Advisor:

• Proven experience within a motor trade Service Advisor role, ideally within a commercial vehicle environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
• Ability to thrive in a busy, multitasking environment
• Experience with Kerridge DMS advantageous
• Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
