£35,000 - £40,000 + Technical Responsibility + Process Improvement + Clean Modern Facility + Long-Term Stability + Days and Double Days (Earlies/Lates) shifts available

Are you a Composite Team Leader, Senior Laminator or ready to step up, looking for a role where your standards, technical knowledge and attention to detail will be recognised in the production of high-quality carbon components?

On offer is a secure permanent position within a well-established specialist composites manufacturer, supplying technically demanding sectors including automotive, aerospace, defence and marine.

In this role you will take technical ownership on the shop floor, supporting the day-to-day running of the laminating department to ensure work is delivered to timescales and completed to the highest standards. You'll work from drawings and route cards, maintain equipment, and drive a clean, controlled environment.

You will be hands-on with pre-preg carbon/glass layup, vacuum bagging and autoclave preparation, plus post-cure breakout and defect identification. You'll also help develop and improve processes to increase quality and efficiency, reporting any mould/pattern issues and working closely with the wider team.

This role would suit a Composite Team Leader / Supervisor or Laminator stepping up looking for a long-term, technically focused position with real responsibility and pride in the end product.

The Role:

• Lead by example on the shop floor, supporting delivery of jobs to time and quality targets
• Hands-on pre-preg laminating (carbon/glass), vacuum bagging and autoclave preparation
• Post-cure breakout and defect identification; report issues and drive corrective actions
• Check drawings, route cards and instructions are clear; ensure procedures are followed
• Support process improvements to raise quality and efficiency in the department

The Person:

• Strong pre-preg laminating experience with autoclave processes (carbon and/or glass)
• Live commutable to Nuneaton
