Contractor Manager

Job description

We are  looking for a Contractor Manager to oversee contractor activity at our Caswell site, ensuring all work is carried out safely, compliantly and with minimal disruption to production.

You’ll manage the contractor lifecycle, including approvals, inductions, competencies, RAMS, permits and site records. Working with WPS, Engineering, Facilities, Production and EHS, you’ll coordinate planned work, review risks and ensure contractors follow site procedures.

The role includes monitoring contractor performance, carrying out audits and inspections, investigating incidents, tracking corrective actions and supporting maintenance and capital projects. You’ll also help ensure work affecting production, cleanrooms, utilities or infrastructure is properly planned and approved.

We’re looking for someone with contractor-management experience in a manufacturing, engineering, facilities, construction or similarly controlled environment. You’ll need a good understanding of RAMS, permits and site safety, along with strong organisational and communication skills. NEBOSH, IOSH, SMSTS or experience in cleanrooms, laboratories or semiconductor manufacturing would be an advantage.

The Contractor Manager can stop work where there is an immediate risk to safety, compliance, production or the site environment.
