This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a growing organisation in a technically focused Financial Accountant position. You'll support accurate financial reporting, maintain strong controls and play a key role in audit, statutory accounts and continuous improvement activities.

Description
As Financial Accountant, you will support the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting across the organisation. You'll take ownership of key technical accounting activities including fixed asset accounting, grant accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT and tax compliance, whilst supporting year-end accounts preparation and external audit processes.
You will also play an important role in maintaining robust financial controls, improving financial systems and processes, and ensuring reporting remains accurate and compliant.
Profile
The successful candidate will be
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting expertise and excellent attention to detail.
- They will bring experience of financial controls, reconciliations, month-end and year-end processes, alongside the ability to build effective relationships and communicate confidently with stakeholders across the business.
- You will be someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines within a collaborative team environment.
