Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Abergavenny
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children in a primary school environment?

Do you have previous childcare experience and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils?

Are you able to commit to a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Abergavenny who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils within the classroom, work alongside the class teacher and help provide an engaging and positive learning environment throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous childcare experience
• Experience supporting children in an educational or childcare setting
• The ability to commit to a full-time, long-term role
• A patient and supportive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive and adaptable attitude
