HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

Our Client, based in Coventry are looking for Class 1 drivers

The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering to stores across the country. You must be comfortable with cage work as this is required at your drops.

The job will require an assessment prior to starting.

Applicants must have proven experience driving a Class 1 vehicle for this position and will need to do an assessment on site.

Further details are as follows:

• Pattern is Monday to Friday on the first week and then Monday to Saturday every other week
• Start times between 0200-0600
• Long days with the potential of nights out
• Store deliveries with handball required

Rates are as follows:

• Basic rate - £18.21 an hour
• Unsociable rate between the hours of 2000 - 0600 - £21.31 an hour
• Weekend Bonus - £50 per shift
• Night out - £26.20 with minimum of 8 hours payment for the following day
• 8 hour guarantee each shift
