The RoleDrivers will be transporting a variety of palletised and general haulage goods across the UK, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
This is a tramping position, so drivers will be away from home during the working week.
Typical duties include:
- Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicles
- Nationwide deliveries and collections
- Transporting palletised and general haulage goods
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
- Communicating with transport planners
- Complying with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Providing a professional level of customer service
Candidates must have:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours Regulations
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Previous tramping experience preferred
- £19.50 per hour – Monday to Friday
- £21.00 per hour – Saturday & Sunday
- Weekly pay
