Internal Account Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager / Inside Sales professional to join a well‑established and market‑leading business based in Chesterfield. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, managing customer accounts, and supporting sales activity through accurate administration and strong relationship building.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers from quotation through to order fulfilment, ensuring high levels of service and on‑time delivery.

Duties:

• Prepare and provide accurate customer quotations
• Process customer sales orders efficiently and accurately
• Handle purchase orders and raise customer invoices
• Produce sales, order, and customer reports as required
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Work to tight customer dispatch and delivery deadlines
• Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Production, and Finance to ensure customer expectations are met
• Maintain accurate records and support general sales administration activities

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an Account Manager, Inside Sales, Sales Administrator, or similar customer‑focused role
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• High attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach
