Learning Support Assistant - Immediate Start

Are you passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming educational setting in Highbridge

This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who may require additional support, helping them to engage with learning, build confidence, and thrive both academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and SEND requirements.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Helping to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress where required.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
