Location: Lymedale, Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £51,440 (including shift allowance) + Overtime
Shifts: 12-hour days & nights (including weekends) 

Motiontech is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to support one of the UK’s most advanced automated logistics facilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated material handling systems
• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, minimising downtime
• Conduct fault finding on electrical, mechanical and PLC-controlled equipment
• Maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics and automated handling systems
• Use CMMS to record maintenance activity and track performance data

This is a hands-on engineering role in a technically advanced automation environment. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a proactive, adaptable Maintenance Engineer with strong diagnostic capability and experience in automated or fast-paced production/logistics environments.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineering
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in logistics, automation, FMCG, manufacturing or similar
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Experience working with:

• Conveyors and automated material handling systems
• Motors, drives, gearboxes and pneumatics
• PLC-controlled equipment (fault finding level)
• Experience using CMMS systems
• Flexible to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights)
• Strong commitment to safe working practices
